We are saddened by the news that many police officers lost their lives and police academy graduates were wounded in a terrorist attack by a car bomb at the Santander Police Academy in the south of Bogota on 17 January 2019.

We strongly condemn this heinous terrorist attack, extend our condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and wish speedy recovery to those wounded.
