Since 1996 when he started his career in the Turkish Foreign Service, Ambassador Hüseyin Güngör has worked in various departments such as OSCE/international security, European Union and information technologies. His postings abroad include the Embassy in Baghdad, the Consulate-General in London, the Embassy in Rome and the Permanent Representation to the World Trade Organisation. He served as the Consul-General in Tabriz. His last appointment in the Ministry’s headquarters was Deputy Director-General of Information Technologies. As of March 15, 2023, H.E. Hüseyin Güngör has assumed his duty as the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the Republic of Ghana.
