The compound of Turkey’s Mosul Consulate-General, which has been occupied by DAESH since June 2014 and where, according to the intelligence provided, high-level DAESH terrorists have been residing, was destroyed by military aircrafts that belong to the members of the International Coalition for the Fight against DAESH at 3 a.m. on 4 April 2016.

Turkey’s views and approval were taken at all stages concerning the preparation and execution of this operation.

Turkey will continue to fight against DAESH in coordination and cooperation with the International Coalition whose activities it has participated in since its inception.
